Here’s a quick recap of the auction:
We invited around 300 friends and family to bid on 20 available ghosts. There were 67 total bids from 52 different bidders (several people placed multiple bids). The bids ranged from a high of $2002 to a low of $25.
The 20th highest bid was for $417, which meant that the clearing price was $417, which meant that every winner paid $417.
The Clearing Price of $417 was higher than our first F&F release in February ($356). This is a bit surprising, given that the number of bids in this auction (67) was lower than the last one (85). Not everyone loves pencils, it seems, but the ones that do are truly passionate about them.
