Every summer has one night that matters more than the rest. The heat. The stakes. Two people who’ve been circling each other for months, finally out of excuses.

Doesn’t matter who you’re rooting for. Doesn’t matter if you saw it coming in April. You feel it.

WrestleMania crowns champions. SummerSlam settles scores.

Here’s what you need to know about the ghostwrite x WWE “SummerSlam Rivals” 100% Blind Box Collection.

Blind Box Math

Blind box ghosts are what we call “100%” size – 2.75” tall x 1.125” wide. They are sold in “blind boxes”, which means you won’t know which ghost you get until you open the box. The 100% blind boxes come in cases, and each case contains 12 blind boxed ghosts.

Here are the key stats:

  • Cases produced = 2,371
  • Cases available in the BDA = 300
  • ghosts per case = 12
  • WWE Superstars in the set = 16
  • Total parallels = Base + 6 rare chase parallels
  • Short Prints = 1
  • Average hits per case = 1.2
  • Max Bids per person = 20

Blind box ghosts operate almost identically to trading cards, hence the trading card terminology like “parallel”, “insert”, “short print”, and “hit”. If you collect cards, you know these words. You know the feeling, too. The rip. The flash of color. The half-second where you realize what you just pulled.

But this set breaks from the card playbook in one big way. A trading card checklist is a roster. This one is a card. As in, a fight card. Every Superstar in “SummerSlam Rivals” shows up with the one person they spent a summer trying to put through a table.

Sixteen WWE Superstars. Eight matches. Three decades of heat.

Parallels and Inserts

ghost parallels function just like trading card parallels. The parallel variants have different visual elements, and they are produced in much lower numbers, making them more rare and more valuable to collectors.

Here is the lineup of the six chase parallels. From left to right: Ghost, Sapphire, Emerald, Gold, Chrome, and Fire.

ParallelQuantity Per SuperstarApprox. Odds Per Case
Ghost1001 per 1.6 cases
Sapphire501 per 3 cases
Emerald251 per 6 cases
Gold101 per 15 cases
Chrome51 per 30 cases
Fire11 per 140 cases

In addition to the Superstar parallels, there are five trophy inserts in the SummerSlam Rivals collection that are even more rare and exclusive. These trophy ghosts carry the WWE logo and “SummerSlam Rivals” across their chests. NOTE: There is no Ghost parallel trophy. Just the five shown below.

As with our previous Blind Box collections, there is also the extremely elusive, extremely rare 1/1 ghostwrite branded insert in the collection. Just so you know what to look for, here’s a pic:

Short Print: The Underfaker

One ghost in this set isn’t who he says he is.

August 1994. Chicago. Ted DiBiase swore he’d found the Undertaker. Paul Bearer swore he hadn’t. Leslie Nielsen was on the case. So the only way to settle it was the only way anything gets settled at SummerSlam. In the ring. Two Undertakers. One Tombstone. One real Deadman walking out.

Now look closer. The purple’s gone. Gray gloves, gray tie, gray boots. Close enough to fool a crowd in 1994. Not close enough to fool a collector in 2026.

The Underfaker is this set’s short print. Only 50 total Base parallels of the Underfaker were produced. There are no rare parallels to chase. So really, the Underfaker is the sixth insert in this collection with the same rarity as the Sapphire /50 Trophy.

Transparent Supply

Production transparency supports true collectability. By being transparent and open about the scarcity of our ghosts, we create long-term value for collectors. That’s why we’ve made it as easy as possible to know, for each design, exactly how many ghosts exist.

The numbering on the bottom of the foot of these 100% ghosts will show, “0726.X”. This means that this ghost was designed in July of 2026. The “X” will be an actual number that indicates how many of that particular ghost has been produced. If for example you pulled a Base parallel, the bottom of its foot would read “0726.1700”,
